When Viva Macau Airlines began in 2005, our team of experienced and dedicated airline managers pledged to create an international value-for-money airline that truly reflects our home, Macau – Asia's newest destination for leisure, entertainment, gaming, shopping, events and mixed culture.

Viva Macau Airlines focuses on providing an international network of services from Macau International Airport. Indeed, "we bring the world to Macau" is part of our mission. Offering value-for-money service, Viva Macau flies to an exciting range of international destinations - opening new routes for Macau and the Pearl River Delta, and complementing Macau's development as a centre for entertainment, leisure and business tourism.

Viva Macau Airlines currently operates a fleet of modern Boeing 767 wide-body aircraft and operates non-stop service to Sydney, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta. Our plans to fly to other destinations in Asia and beyond are also in the works. We launched services in December 2006 with two Boeing 767s, and we aim to expand to 10 to 15 aircraft within five years.

With the Boeing 767 aircraft and up to 245 seats in a two-class configuration — Premium and Economy Class — Viva Macau Airlines also has significant space in our belly-holds for airfreight consignments, an important strategic consideration given that Macau is on the edge of the Pearl River Delta, the world's workshop. That means we can use freight revenues to supplement new routes for Macau, something which other airlines using narrow-body aircraft just cannot do.

Viva Macau Airlines' senior team is crewed by some of the best and brightest airline managers, hailing from blue chip airlines in Asia and around the world, including Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Qantas, American Airlines, Dragonair and renowned regional low cost carriers like AirAsia and JetStar Asia etc. Collectively, the team has more than 200 years of experience in airline management and operations, aircraft engineering, and customer services. Our team is committed to giving our customers a professional and reliable, yet dynamic and people-oriented airline experience.

Viva Macau's Chairman Ngan In Leng is a well-known businessman and philanthropist in Macau and China. He is active as a leader of Macau's large ethnic Fujianese community and is chairman of the Goddess A-Ma Foundation of Macau. Mr Ngan is also Vice Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body.

Viva Macau is a privately owned company whose shareholders including Macau prominent businessman and MKW Capital, an international venture capital firm with a series of equity investments across a diverse portfolio of businesses in Macau.
